We are using this project as a hands-on way to understand how to make sets of 10 as well as to practice counting by 10s. We are learning that this is much more efficient way to count large groups of things! Each time we fill our 10s frame with post cards we will connect them into a strip of 10, making it easier to count!
This is real math in action! Check us out making our postcards into sets of 10! We figured out that each time we fill the 10 frame with post cards, we can clip them together to make a set of 10, which makes it SO much easier to count!
We hit 100!!!
Our 100th post card came from one of our own classmates! She made us a post card all by herself!
