Writers in action! We have learned all year that writers write for readers. We have been working on using our writing to make our world a better place and today we did just that! The children shared their writing about problems they see in our school and how they can be solved with fellow kindergarteners. They were so proud and excited to share their hard work!

Thanksgiving!! We spent time learning about the Pilgrims and the story of the First Thanksgiving through song, stories and by making our own story bracelets! We even made and sampled some foods the Pilgrims may have had at the First Thanksgiving. Mrs. Crane's brother, Chef William, came in during a break from culinary school and taught us about cranberries and all of the different ways we can enjoy them.
You are looking at the Class of the Month for our cafeteria!! Each month a different class is chosen based on manners and making good choices in the lunch room. I am SO proud of these kiddos!!! :)
