Our Class in Action!
Snow Day Fun! While there wasn't much snow on the ground, we took advantage of the "warm" weather and stretched our legs outside with our 3rd grade buddies. The kids didn't care - they were just happy to run!
It is definitely beginning to feel like Christmas around here! Our class had an amazing Christmas Concert this week! All the children's hard work really paid off!
Just time to play...the playground is closed for the winter but we still make our own fun inside!
It's Gingerbread Week! We wrapped the week by making our own gingerbread cookies and you won't believe it! They ran out of the oven in the cafeteria! We chased them all over school until Curious George caught them for us. We had to nibble their legs quickly because they were so tricky! Some children are still convinced there may be more cookies on the loose! Could those be gingerbread footprints in the hallway?
Happy Halloween!!! What a special day full of parade, centers & yummy treats! **Pictures to come! Problems uploading them at this time...
One School, One Book! Just in - our OSOB for this year is Champ!!! We had a very exciting assembly to kick off this special event. Children with older siblings were picked up to go as a family to receive their new book. We are so excited!
Center Time! The children have very quickly settled into the routine of center time. So much, that now they are able to have choice in which centers they go to!
Exploring math tools! We will use lots of different tools this year.
Time to play and get to know each other! We spend a lot of time in the beginning of the year learning how to be friends and to have fun together. Check out these monkeys on the playground!
